Who will conduct the planning process?

Sunnyvale's Department of Parks and Recreation is taking the lead on the Parks of the Future Plan. The City has hired a consultant team, Moore Iacofano Goltsman, Inc. (MIG) to assist with the public involvement, research and preparation of the document. MIG will help the Department take an objective, critical look at its programs, facilities and organizational structure.

Project Advisory Committee

A Project Advisory Committee has been created with representatives from the Parks and Recreation Department, the Planning Department, the Library, and Department of Public Safety representatives. The City departments will coordinate to ensure that the Parks of the Future Plan aligns with the City's General Plan update. In addition, members of the planning consulting firm Moore Iacofano Goltsman, Inc. (MIG) have teamed with City departments to conduct community outreach and analysis as well as coordination to support the planning process.
